Round Rock ISD to renovate and expand Brushy Creek Elementary School for $ 8.4 million

Round Rock (Williamson County) – The Round Rock Independent School District has filed an architectural barrier notice with a state regulatory agency regarding renovations to Brushy Creek Elementary School.

The school is located at 3800 Stonebridge Dr. in the western part of town.

The scope of work includes the addition of a 25,000 square foot two-story classroom, the renovation of the school’s existing gymnasium, as well as the replacement of a cafeteria and classroom.

The estimated cost of the project is $ 8.4 million and the planned construction schedule is expected to begin on January 10, 2022 and end on December 1, 2022.

Based in Dallas Lee Lewis Construction Inc is the site manager. Sub-bids are due October 19 at 2:00 p.m. CST and those interested in submitting bids for sub-contract work or questions in general can do so by email: [email protected]

DLR Group, a Dallas-based design firm, is on board the project. The rest of the project team consists of the MEP engineer JonesDBR Engineering Co LLC, Austin, civil engineer, GarzaEMC LLC, Austin and structural engineer, Dally + Associates Inc, in Austin.

Based in Austin True North Consulting Group is the technology consultant.
